Ūna never gives an assistant your household key. A separate agent-readable key protects only the content you explicitly approve, while Ūna’s backend continues to store ciphertext.

    Grant only the people and lists needed for the job. Capabilities control tools; grants control household data.

    Review the boundary

    Before the connection becomes active, Ūna shows the exact access being created and what may reach your chosen provider.

    Stay in control

    Review activity, rotate the token, change access, or revoke the connection from Ūna.

Compatibility ChatGPT, Claude, and Hermes are convenient examples, not embedded accounts or partnerships. Compatibility depends on the assistant environment being able to store secrets securely, keep a private key, and run the Ūna SDK or equivalent trusted integration code.

Open integration kit

The easier path into an encrypted household.

Household planning is too private for a generic plaintext API. The Ūna SDK gives trusted assistant runtimes tested pairing, local encryption and decryption, typed tools, readiness checks, and safer writes—without turning Ūna’s backend into a place that can read the family plan.

Local MCP adapter

Run the optional GitHub adapter locally for plaintext-friendly tools. It is not a shared hosted decryption service.

Hosted protocol

Advanced runtimes can call the encrypted MCP endpoint directly using the published manifest and cryptographic contract.

The SDK does not choose an AI model, host an agent, or provide a chat interface. It is the secure integration layer between the assistant runtime you trust and Ūna.

The planning conversation and general reasoning happen in the external assistant. Ūna supplies protected household tools and stores the agreed result.

Safeguards by design

Encrypted does not mean unlimited.

Private keys, tokens, unwrapped content keys, plaintext, encryption, and decryption stay inside trusted runtime code—not in the model prompt and not on Ūna’s backend.

Separate identity

An assistant connection is not a household member. It has its own token, capabilities, grants, and activity.

Separate key

Ūna wraps a dedicated agent-readable key to the assistant’s setup key. The household key is never shared.

Busy without details

An assistant can help find free time without automatically seeing event titles, notes, locations, or URLs.

Explicit access

Adults choose the exact people and lists the assistant can use. Presets never grant the whole household.

Encrypted writes

Calendar and list content is encrypted inside the trusted assistant runtime before it reaches Ūna.

Revocable

Rotate a token or revoke a connection at any time. Revocation stops future calls, but cannot erase information already received.

Deliberate boundaries

What a connection cannot do.

This is not a built-in “Ūna AI,” a household member, or automatic access to the whole home.

External-provider boundary

Ūna does not use household content to train AI models. A fully local or self-hosted runtime can keep selected plaintext within infrastructure you control. But a self-hosted connector that calls ChatGPT, Claude, or another hosted model still sends the readable details included in that request to the provider. The provider’s own storage, processing, retention, and training policies apply after receipt.

One subscription covers the household.

If Plus ends, assistant calls pause while connection records remain visible for adults to review and revoke.
